Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before registering for the Robotics Coding Challenge.

Who Can Participate

  • Open to students enrolled in Australian schools, Kindergarten to Year 12
  • Participants under 18 require parent/guardian consent
  • Each participant may enter one track per competition year
  • School groups must be registered and managed by a school staff member

Fees and Payment

  • Individual entry: $30 AUD (Full access, refundable per terms)
  • School group: $20/student (Discounted rate, strict no-refund policy applied)
  • Refund details, including limitations for e-Learning access and provisions for Group Member Substitutions, are thoroughly outlined in our Refund Policy.

Project Submission Rules

  • All submitted work must be original, created by the entering student(s)
  • Projects must relate to the annual theme (2026: The Highway Collapse)
  • AI tools may be used as aids but not as the primary creator
  • Submissions must include: Project context + YouTube Pitch Video
  • Late submissions will not be accepted
  • RCC reserves the right to disqualify entries that violate these terms

Ownership of Work

Students retain ownership of their submitted projects. By entering, you grant RCC a non-exclusive licence to display and promote your project for educational and competition purposes, with attribution.

Certificates, Medals & Trophies

Physical awards are delivered to your school address by default. Individual delivery is available upon request but may incur additional postage costs. RCC is not responsible for items lost or delayed in transit.
