Robotics Challenge 2026

AI-Powered Robot Control · Pose Recognition · UNSW Finals

🚨 2026 Scenario: The Highway Collapse

Build AI Rescue Robots

Build and control rescue robots using AI Pose Recognition — body movements, not remote controls.

Three Competition Categories

🏃

Category A: Individual (1 Student)

Use the Official AI Mission Robot Kit with AI pose recognition via webcam + Bluetooth. Starter or Challenge mode.

👥

Category B: Team (2–4 Students)

Team must train its own AI Pose Classification model using Google Teachable Machine. Collaboration + AI = higher scores.

🔧

Category C: Open Rescue Robotics

Use LEGO, Arduino, VEX, micro:bit, Raspberry Pi — any robot platform. Same missions as Cat A/B. Bonus for AI integration.

🏟️ UNSW Robotics Finals — 20–21 October 2026
