Robotics Category A — AI Motion Rescue (Individual)

ROBOTICS CATEGORY A

AI Motion Rescue — Individual

Control the Official AI Mission Robot Kit using AI Pose Recognition to complete a rescue mission — no remote control allowed.

🤖 Year 4 – Year 12👤 Individual (1 student)🎮 AI Pose + Bluetooth

Your Mission 🎯

Control the official MRT AI robot using AI Pose Recognition via webcam and Bluetooth. Navigate through obstacles to move a rescue object from the start zone to the destination — all within 3 minutes.

⚠️ Remote control, manual control, and keyboard/mouse control are not allowed. The robot must be controlled entirely through body pose recognition.

Obstacles3–5 simple classroom obstacles (cups, blocks, boxes)
Time Limit3 minutes

Mission Flow

  1. Start at the Start Base
  2. Control robot using AI pose recognition via webcam
  3. Navigate through obstacles
  4. Reach the rescue object (push, pull, guide, carry, or walk it)
  5. Move the object to the Destination Zone
  6. Complete within 3 minutes

AI Mode Selection ⚡

Starter Mode

Use the official sample Pose Classification model provided through the eLearning platform.

Good for beginners — standard scoring

⭐ Challenge Mode

Train your own Pose Classification model using Google Teachable Machine.

Higher technical recognition → better AI Control Quality score
